Waldo is coming back to Squirrel Hill and McCandless this July to help spread the “Buy Local” message. Riverstone Books will be hosting Find Waldo Local, an exciting month-long scavenger hunt to find Waldo in participating local businesses.

During the month of July, stop into your local Riverstone Books to pick up a stamp book, which will list all participating businesses. Squirrel Hill and McCandless Crossing have unique-to-their-area stamp cards, so feel free to find Waldo in both. Each business on the stamp cards will have a six-inch Waldo standee hidden in their store. Once found, you receive a stamp at the counter.

Stop back into Riverstone Books to claim a Waldo sticker and a coupon for $1 off Waldo merchandise (limited to the first 125 Waldo-spotters) when you find five Waldos. Individuals who complete their entire Waldo stamp card are entered in a drawing for a deluxe Waldo prize pack or other special prizes. This campaign runs from July 1st to July 31.

Our Squirrel Hill store will have a Waldo grand celebration and prize drawing at 2:00p on Saturday, August 2. Our McCandless store will have will have theirs at 5:00p on Sunday, August 3. Please RSVP one ticket for each child attending (RSVP not needed for parents/gaurdians) so we can prepare the proper amount of supplies. If you are no longer able to make it, please cancel your ticket(s) so others may attend.
