TUESDAY MORNING STORYTIMES AT MCCANDLESS CROSSING

We host Yoga Storytime and Music Storytime on alternating Tuesday mornings at 9:30am before the store opens. Click HERE for our EVENTS calendar to see what’s coming up next and make a reservations. We do limit the number of attendees to maintain safe distancing, so grab your spot quick!

SATURDAY MORNING STORYTIMES AT MCCANDLESS CROSSING

We are so excited to have relaunched our Saturday morning storytimes, led by our Children’s Manager, Melanie Artice-Moore.

Each week will feature a different theme, with stories, songs, and a simple craft. Upcoming themes include:

Feb. 12 - Special Meet-the-Author Event with Michelle A Butler, who will share her book IN A BUTTON

Feb. 19 - Kindness

Feb. 26 - Penguins

Mar. 5 - Counting

Mar. 12 - St Patrick’s Day Green

SUNDAY MORNING STORYTIMES AT SQUIRREL HILL

You asked for it and now we're pleased to announce that we'll be beginning Sunday morning storytimes at Riverstone Books in Squirrel Hill!

February 13 at 10:30am - Miss Robin welcomes you to our first ever Squirrel Hill story time! Come celebrate Valentine's Day with love-themed books and a fun craft.

February 27 at 10:30am - This week, Ms. Nadiya will read some of your favorite picture books celebrating friendship and lead us all in a craft to make an imaginary friend.

Attendance is limited to 12 children for the safety of all. In order to protect our youngest patrons, all children and adults over the age of 2 will be required to wear a mask.

Please register each child who will be attending. If you cannot make Storytime please cancel your tickets so other children may attend.
